Why are children’s rights more important than human rights?

This is an absurd statement. A child is also a person. The author most likely meant why the rights of the child are more priority than the rights of an adult. This is due to the fact that a child cannot stand up for himself and he needs legal guarantees and legal protection of his personality. All these arguments have a place to be, therefore, until he comes of age, he has certain privileges. In particular, we have an age of responsibility for delinquencies and crimes. This is done so that there would be no such conflicts.
