Why are fold mountain belts located differently in Eurasia than on other continents?

Folded regions are formed by collisions of a continental plate with other tectonic plates. If most of the continents have one collision zone, where a folded mountain system is formed, then such areas are numerous in Eurasia. Several medium-sized tectonic plates joined this continent only during the last Alpine folding; at the place of collision of the Eurasian plate with these plates, many folded mountains were formed, such as the Alps, Himalayas, etc.
