Why are integrated monitoring stations located on the territory of biosphere reserves?

These stations are located in the reserves for a reason. Biological reserves are places where human access is closed. We cannot influence these zones, we cannot destroy plants, animals, insects there. Therefore, the reserves are quite clean places and more or less objective research can be carried out there. Monitoring is carried out not only on the territories of reserves, but also in areas where people actively influence the environment. But the goals of such monitoring are different from the goals of monitoring in clean natural zones.
