Why are mushrooms attributed to a special kingdom of living nature? What signs are characteristic for it?

Fungi are a separate kingdom of living organisms, because, having separate signs of animals and plants, they also differ in individual characteristics.
Signs of mushrooms:
– according to the way of feeding of heterotrophs, tk. use ready-made organic substances;
– the body or mycelium consists of filaments – hyphae;
– mycelium grows throughout life;
– cells have a chitin cell wall;
– storage carbohydrate – glycogen;
– the main decay product is urea;
– reproduce by spores that form in sporangia.
