Why are plants considered living organisms?

All plants are classified as living organisms. Plants with all living organisms are united by common characteristics:
– Plants eat like all living things; for example fertilizers, solar energy;
– plants breathe – absorb oxygen – release carbon dioxide into the environment;
– plants grow and reproduce;
– plants adapt to changes in the environment;
– die at the end of the life cycle.
