Why are the leaves green?

Most plant leaves are green in color. All due to the fact that plant cells contain organelles that are responsible for plant photosynthesis. They have a green color due to the pigment. It is released during photosynthesis, and it is this that colors the plant. If you remove the plant in a dark place, then after a while it will lose color due to the stopping of the release of pigment. This is due to the fact that photosynthesis is possible only under the influence of sunlight. But some plants are brown in color, since they have different energy production processes.
