Why are we studying history?

It is important to study history. And even if not for the profession and admission to the university, passing exams, then for general development. It is necessary to know history: not only domestic, but also world history. History should be taught in order to have the right to be called a truly educated person. A nation that does not know its history has no future. We must not lose our history in order to know what to strive for, what mistakes to avoid, what goals to set in the future. Without history, we will not be able to evolve and exist as a whole, because we need to know and remember how the statehood of our country was born, what path the people traveled in order to become a full-fledged society, how the culture of mankind developed – the sacred duty of man and citizen.
