Why can moose comparatively run in swampy swamps where other animals get stuck?

Initially, it should be noted that the moose’s hoof is not the same as that of a horse, but consists of two halves, which significantly increases the support area. If you remember physics, the smaller the support area, the greater the pressure and vice versa. Thus, the presence of a wide hoof allows the elk to not sink deeply. In addition, the moose has a membrane between the two halves of the hoof, which also allows it not to get bogged down in swampy areas.
Elks rarely walk in swamps in unfamiliar places. Usually they have their own “paths” along which they move.
