Why can there be many different animals in the forest?

Since the forest is a huge natural community, many species of animals can coexist in it. The forest has food supplies for a variety of herbivores. And they, in turn, become food for carnivores. Animals form a food pyramid, where each individual species has a role to play. The variety of plant food in the forest guarantees the independence of animals from a particular plant species, so species can coexist peacefully, and not destroy each other due to lack of food.
