Why can’t you travel around the world, heading north all the time?

Our planet is round and you can travel around the world on it, it is only important to choose the right direction. Having set off from a specific point and moving north all the time, you will not be able to return to the starting point! Why? As soon as the traveler reaches the North Pole on a compass or map, the north direction will end! From the point corresponding to the North Pole, whichever direction you go, all paths will lead to the south, southeast or southwest! You will not be able to travel around the world when you try to move south. But if you move to the east or west, then you can make a full circle and return to the beginning of the path.
