Manufactures could have ceased to exist for the following reasons:
Out of raw materials. For example, some of the metal processing plants in the Urals, that is, on the territory of the modern Perm Territory and the Sverdlovsk Region, appeared and closed in the 17th century, as the ore ran out.
Fire or death of the creator of the manufactory. There was no good organizer and the business stopped.
The manufactory was often dissatisfied with artisans, who experienced competition from its side.
