Why did capitalism originate in Europe?

The conditions for the emergence of capitalism can be considered the processes that have been going on in Europe since the 15th-16th centuries – the Reformation (the emergence of Protestantism and Protestant ethics), the Renaissance (the ancient world had a high level of development of commodity-money relations), the development of urban self-government (for example, Magdeburg Law ) and ties with the outside world, an important stage in which was the era of great geographical discoveries.
