Why did different nations curse the Assyrians?

This is due to the fact that the Assyrians in their time conquered many peoples, tribes and enslaved them. Their attitude towards them was especially cruel. Thus, the conquered peoples hated the Assyrians very much. True, by the end of the 7th century BC, the hegemony of Assyria ended after Babylon and Media defeated the Assyrian troops and burned the capital – Nineveh.
