Why did Nazism win in post-war Germany?

These are just the main reasons why the people of Germany could so easily be imbued with the ideology of Nazism. Each of the Germans dreamed of returning to its former glory, each was dissatisfied with the results of the First World War and wanted only one thing – to regain its former glory. That is why Hitler was able to confidently gain a foothold in power, capturing the minds of the masses.
