Why did the Greeks leave Greece and go to live in overseas countries?

Each city in Greece formed a separate state, between which there was a war. Also, wars were fought within each city between the nobility and the demos – the losers were forced to flee. The nobility oppressed the people who lived very poorly, as a result, the poor left their homeland in order to get rid of debts and not die of hunger. If the people managed to defeat the nobility, then the aristocrats were forced to leave their homeland in order to save their lives.
