Why did the Greeks win the Trojan War?

For a very long time, the Greeks could not defeat the Trojans. Troy has been an impregnable fortress for ten years already. But one day Odysseus had a thought. He ordered the soldiers to build a large horse and pull it to the gates of Troy, pretending that the Greeks would recognize the victory of Troy. The Trojans, on the other hand, thought that the Greeks had surrendered and, as a sign of this, were giving them a large wooden horse. Delighted, the Trojans pulled the horse (in which the Greek soldiers were sitting) into the city and began to celebrate. At night, when the city was asleep, the Greeks got out of the horse and opened the gates of Troy, letting in the rest of the Greek army. So Troy was taken.
