Why did the Paris Peace Conference neglect the interests of small countries?

Small countries did not play a big role in world politics. The military forces, the economies of these countries, the share of imports and exports were small, and the leading states were solving issues of global importance. For example, at the Prague Conference, France argued that its territory and people suffered the greatest losses in the First World War and demanded compensation for the losses of the defeated state. Haiti is a small state in the Caribbean. During the First World War, the state freed itself from French dependence. The War of Independence was no less destructive for this country, but this island state was not among the interests of European states.
Great states lobbied for issues concerning the Entente countries.

Big states make big politics, and small powers try to squeeze into big political games without having the necessary potential for this.
