Why did the peasant war break out in Germany? What did the peasants want?

In Germany in the 15th century, the peasants remained completely at the mercy of the feudal lords, while in France and England the peasants were freed from the oppression of the feudal lords.

The feudal lords sought to profitably sell agricultural products, and therefore actively used the free labor of the peasants – they had to work more in the corvee, pay the quitrent, the tithe of the church, as well as other taxes, which became more and more.

The communal lands were taken away from the peasants, they were forbidden to hunt, collect brushwood, graze cattle on pastures, collect brushwood – after all, now all the lands belonged to the feudal lord.

For these reasons, the movement of disgruntled peasants began.
