Why didn’t the Egyptians have a sea god?

Despite the presence of two seas nearby – the Mediterranean and the Red, the Egyptians were not as skillful sailors as the ancient Greeks or Phoenicians, which is why the sea god did not become an object of their cult. Their civilization was more land and agricultural, not commercial.
