Why do climatic zones exist in climatic zones?

The climatic zone is the zone with the distribution of climatic elements along the geographic latitude. So they distinguish polar and temperate, subtropical and tropical, as well as equatorial climatic zones or zones. However, climatic elements in these zones are often not evenly distributed. This is due to differences in the terrain or to the remoteness of this or that territory from the ocean. Thus, it may turn out that at the same latitude, in the same climatic zone, independent climatic regions are formed – areas with a relatively homogeneous climate, but generally different from that characteristic of this belt.
