Why do many researchers compare the nervous system to a computer?

Our brains and nervous systems are like computers in the way they work. The brain has sections of memory, just like a computer. There is permanent memory, and there is dynamic memory. Also, the brain works like a microprocessor. It processes all the information that travels to it along the nerves, like the data buses on a motherboard. Also, a person has reflexes to which the brain responds first. Analog in a computer – processor interrupt mode, when more important commands that come suddenly are executed out of turn.
