Why do people need social norms?

Social norms, along with legal ones, regulate relationships between people in society. Social norms are a tool that has been formed in the course of the development of a society. Social norms differ in different societies, and the norms themselves are laid by parents when raising a child, or in the process of self-education of a person. Failure to comply with social norms is not punished criminally or administratively, but will invariably lead to condemnation in society.

One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
