Why do plants play a leading role in the natural community?

Plants play a leading role in the natural community because: they are the first link in the food chain; during photosynthesis, plants form oxygen, which we all breathe; it is the only organism that can convert the energy of the sun into the energy of chemical reactions; provide control over carbon dioxide, absorbing it, which ensures life on earth; plants also affect the climate, help to retain moisture; nozzles act as a filter, cleaning the air from dust and harmful gases.
