Why do volcanoes erupt?

Volcanoes are geological formations on the surface of the planet (there are volcanoes on other planets of the solar system, as well as on many satellites). In the volcanic zone, magma approaches the planet’s surface, forming magma chambers. Lava and volcanic gases accumulate here. When the pressure in the magma chambers reaches the limit, all its contents are thrown out with tremendous force. This is how an eruption occurs according to the Strombolian type. For the Hawaiian type of volcanic eruptions, such explosions are not characteristic. In total, there are 10 types of volcanic eruptions.
