Why does a person sneeze?

This is the body’s defensive reaction. We breathe through our nose. We have a special apparatus for trapping various particles and viruses on the way to the lungs. When we inhale a large particle that gets on the mucous membrane, the body’s defensive reaction begins. It is necessary to deduce this particle. Therefore, we start to sneeze. Sometimes this process can cause a pungent smell, as the olfactory receptors can also send a signal to the brain that something is wrong and the brain will trigger a defense reaction in the form of a sneezing reflex.
