Why does an egg fall quickly from the table to the floor, and slowly sink to the bottom in a pot of water?

Two forces act on the egg: the force of gravity m * g vertically downward and the buoyancy force of Archimedes vertically upward Farkh. The resultant force F = m * g – Farch will be directed downward.
The buoyancy force of Archimedes is determined by the formula: Farch = ρ * g * V. Where ρ is the density of a gas or liquid, g is the acceleration of gravity, V is the volume of the body.
The air density ρw = 1.29 kg / m ^ 3 has a small value, therefore, the buoyancy force in the air will not be significant.
The density of water ρwater = 1000 kg / m ^ 3 has a significant value, therefore, the buoyancy force in water will be much greater than in air.
The resultant force in the air will be greater than the resultant force in the water. Where there is more force there and the time of movement of the egg will be shorter.
