Why does modern man need knowledge about natural communities?

Let us first recall a few examples of natural communities. This is a forest, a body of water, a desert, a garden, a field, and so on. Different organisms live in different communities, certain plants grow. Knowledge of what plants, animals, fungi, bacteria and viruses live there allows the rational use of natural resources without harm to natural communities and minimal harm to humans. For example, deforestation is very important, but we must do it right and reforest to reduce harm to the animals and people living there.
