Why does the body temperature drop during sleep?

In fact, the temperature drops slightly during sleep. The temperature can drop by only a few tenths of a degree. This slight decrease is due to the fact that the person is inactive. We are not moving, and some of our organs are not working at full strength. But practically all organs, including the brain, continue their activity despite sleep. We need a little less energy than a day. Most of all, the temperature changes closer to morning. Therefore, measuring the temperature immediately after sleep is not entirely accurate.
