Why does the driver slow down when lifting?

Engine power can be determined by the formula: N = F * V, where N – engine power; F is traction force and V is vehicle speed. Engine power is unchanged. Therefore, when ascending, the driver reduces the speed, thereby increasing the thrust of the engine.

Likewise, under heavy loads (plowing the land), the tractor driver shifts to a lower gear.

It is difficult for the car to start driving in third or fourth gear.
