Why does the plant produce many seeds?

The main goal of any living organism is survival and reproduction, that is, the preservation of the species. Various plants use seeds to spread their offspring. The more seeds there are, the more chances there will be that some of them will be able to survive adverse conditions, germinate and survive. Also, an important task is not only the generation of many seeds, but also their distribution as far as possible.
