Why doesn’t a piece of seaweed die in water?

Algae are both multicellular and unicellular. Multicellular algae belong to the group of lower plants. This means that they are composed of many cells, but do not have any tissues or organs. They do not have a root, stem and leaves, conductive or excretory tissues and other things. They multiply by spores. Since algae do not have organs and tissues, some of the algae can function and develop normally. When a part of the algae is separated, it does not die and continues to function normally.
