Why doesn’t the coastline of Antarctica stay constant?

Antarctica is the only continent covered with eternal ice (its thickness is from 2 to 4 km). The contours of the ice cover are larger in area than the solid continental rock. Under the influence of gravity, ice sometimes breaks, which is why the shape of the coastline changes. Also, the contours of Antarctica vary every year depending on the winter or summer period.
