Why don’t the seasons in Australia coincide with the seasons in our area?

The seasons in Australia and in the countries of Eurasia (Russia belongs to them) do not coincide, since these two continents are located on different hemispheres: Australia in the South, and Eurasia in the North. The fact is that these two hemispheres, due to the tilt of our planet relative to its orbit, take turns approaching and moving away from the sun. At the moment when the Southern Hemisphere approaches the Sun and summer begins in Australia, the Northern Hemisphere, on the contrary, moves away from the sun and winter begins in Russia.
