Why have animals, unlike plants, developed different modes of movement?

Plants are autotrophs, that is, they themselves prepare organic matter in the process of photosynthesis. In order to get the energy they need, they need light, which they capture with chlorophyll. Plants are characterized by growth in the direction of light – phototropism. Animals are heterotrophs, they use ready-made organic matter. Some eat plants, but you need to find them and get what is edible. Herbivores are eaten by predators, but the prey still needs to be caught up. Therefore, animals are actively moving.
