Why is asexual reproduction more common in lower animals than in higher animals?

Asexual reproduction requires only one organism, and in the case of sexual reproduction, two organisms. They begin to exchange genes, which is why the genes that have been damaged are restored. In addition, there is a recombination of parental genes, this allows them a chance of evolution and selection. It is for this reason that asexual reproduction is characteristic of the lower ones, and sexual reproduction for the higher ones.
