Why is Egypt called a state?

By the standards of the modern concept of the state, and even more so by the political criteria of the Ancient World, Egypt could indeed be called a state for certain reasons. Secondly, the Egyptian kingdom had an unstable, but nevertheless ramified bureaucratic apparatus, a sole king (Pharaoh), a single treasury. The ancient Egyptian kingdom also imposed heavy taxes and taxes on its people, which can also be considered a state system.
