Why is Garibaldi a national hero in Spain? And what can you learn from him?

Garibaldi in the middle of the 19th century was an active revolutionary and military leader. Throughout the entire period of the liberation movement in Italy, he took an active part in these events, starting with the revolution of 1848-1849. During this time, Garibaldi was able to turn into a national hero. It was largely thanks to him that the Italians were able to complete the unification of the country, which took place in 1870 and is known in history as the Risorgimento. However, Garibaldi did not pursue his political career in Italy, but went to France to fight imperialism.
