Why is hypertension dangerous and why the area of the heart wall that has recovered after a heart attack cannot be reduced?

Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure. With hypertension, the vascular wall is stressed by increased pressure. If it is very high or the wall is too thin and fragile, then the vessel can rupture and a stroke – cerebral hemorrhage – occurs. Also, high pressure can lead to the detachment of a plaque (thrombus) and a blockage of the vessel will occur. Such a phenomenon in the heart will be called a heart attack. During this time, the cells of the heart do not receive oxygen and die. Therefore, the area of the heart that has died after a heart attack is not able to contract.
