Why is it extremely rare in nature that the population of this or that type of organism dies? What is preventing this?

Everything in our biosphere is very closely interconnected. One population regulates the other and vice versa. The variety of living organisms and populations contributes to the sustainability of the natural community and the biosphere as a whole. But it is possible to destroy the population and it often happens. If you destroy some important environmental conditions in a certain area where the population lives, then this will negatively affect it. It will also have a bad effect on other living organisms due to the destruction of this population.
