Why is life on earth impossible without a plant?

Life on Earth without plants is impossible for a number of reasons. The fact is that plants perform several vital functions.
1. Function of oxygen generation. Plants are involved in the most important processes associated with the production of oxygen. It is used by all living organisms and is perhaps the most important component of inanimate nature.
2. The puncture is nutritious. We will not be able to live without flora products for a long time. Oils, cereals, cereals, vegetables – we use all this every day.
3. Protective function. Plants protect us from global warming and overheating of the earth’s crust.
