Why is man considered the most important branch of evolution?

According to the theory of evolution, man was able to adapt to any environment, because where animals grew fur, decreased in size, man developed amazing mental abilities that allowed him to become at the top of the evolutionary chain. If giraffes have adapted to a hot climate, and penguins to a cold one, then a change in temperature will lead to the death of these animals. There is no need for a person to adapt to the climate; he himself alters the climate at his own discretion. People use their wits to invent gadgets and mechanisms that help them challenge nature.
