Why is our planet unevenly populated?

Man is an intelligent creature. Therefore, he feels the climatic changes. Ancient people chose a place to live carefully. They settled where it was warm, lived in caves, set up camp sites near the shores of lakes and rivers. This played a role: now the planet Earth is populated unevenly. Sparsely populated areas: Namibia, the Republic of Suriname, Mauritania, part of the African continent is empty (because there is a desert, the year-round heat has a detrimental effect on the life of living organisms).
