Why is paying taxes one of the main responsibilities of citizens?

Taxes must be paid without fail, it is very important for the life of the state. Our taxes are used to pay salaries to teachers, doctors, civil servants, police officers and all those who work in the public sector in government agencies. In addition, thanks to taxes, infrastructure is developing in our country. This is how new roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, buildings and the like are built. In other words, having paid a small part of the money in the form of taxes, we then, in fact, return them to ourselves when we go to the hospital, send the child to kindergarten or school.
