Why is the air temperature at the ceiling and at the floor different?

If we conduct an experiment and compare the air temperature, we will see that the temperature under the ceiling is always higher than below. This is due to the fact that warm air tends upwards, and cold air – downwards. By taking measurements with a thermometer, the air temperature near the floor and near the ceiling, you can see a difference of several degrees.
