Why is the English Revolution important? (17th century)

The bourgeois revolution in England (1642-1645) had a tremendous effect for this country and for Europe as a whole. So the absolute power of the king was forcibly limited by parliament, the monarchy of absolutism was replaced by a constitutional one. There was a strengthening of the bourgeoisie, the rise of trade and business, the development of human and civil rights, as well as the protection of fundamental freedoms and privileges at the legislative level. In 1651 the Navigation Act was passed. According to him, trade and transportation could be carried out by English ships or by the ships of the country where the goods were produced. The aftermath of the revolutionary changes transformed England and accelerated the creation of a rule of law and civil society. This was enshrined in the 1689 Bill of Rights. The revolution and the reforms that followed it, also became an example for other countries.
