Why is the kingdom of the Germans in the British Isles called England?

It was named after the largest tribe – the Anglo-Saxons. Great changes in Britain began in the 5th century when the Romans left the island. Numerous tribes of the Anglo-Saxons poured here, who were able to establish their rule here. Over time, several small kingdoms arose in these territories, which constantly competed and fought with each other.
