Why is the leaf of a green plant called the organ of air nutrition?

The leaf of a green plant contains organelles, chloroplasts, in which the process of photosynthesis takes place. As a result of their air, CO2 is absorbed, O2 is released, and organic nutrients are synthesized from inorganic ones. That is, the plant produces nutrients for itself (autotrophic type of nutrition). Therefore, it is the green leaf of the plant that is called the organ of air nutrition.
