Although, this is not entirely true. Its orbit is not round, but slightly elongated – elliptical, because of which the moon turns and we can see the western and eastern edges of its other side. We also see the northern edge with the southern edge due to the fact that the moon’s orbital plane is slightly not perpendicular to the axis of its rotation.
