Why is the shell surrounding the earth called living?

When viewed from space, the shell around the Earth will look like a light blue film covering the entire globe. The shell, also called the atmosphere, is the thinnest formation of a mixture of gases that form air in the atmosphere. But thanks to this thin and fragile shell on Earth, there is a huge variety of life. There are hundreds of thousands of living organisms in the air, in the water, in the soil and on the ground. Therefore, the shell around the Earth can be safely called alive.
