Why is the United States the highest population density in the northeast of the country?

The high population density in the northeastern United States is characteristic for a number of reasons. First, the historical ones. The settlement of the country in the 17th century began from the vicinity of New York and Boston, the first city was founded by the Dutch, and then the British captured it.

The second reason is migration, for a long time migrants arrived in the country by ships and planes precisely in the eastern regions of the country. That is why immigrants from the former USSR and, for example, Albanians live in New York.

The third reason is the specificity of the central and western regions of the United States, where there are either no conditions for a large population, for example, the Nevada desert or the states of the farm (Dakota).
